Katherine Hough is an HSE Representative for Anadarko Petroleum Corporation’s Health, Safety, and Environment Corporate Team supporting air quality compliance and permitting. With a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, she started as an air quality consultant for the oil and gas industry in 2007. In 2010, she took a position with Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (Anadarko) and has since held positions supporting air quality compliance and permitting for Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah assets. She was the ‘Air Quality Team Lead’ for Anadarko’s Uintah Basin (Utah) from 2013 to 2016 which supported both exploration and production (E&P) and midstream assets.

Today, she supports Anadarko’s ‘Corporate Environment Team’, supporting enterprise-level solutions for Anadarko’s air quality teams. With her admiration for the oil and gas industry, it is her passion to understand the key role that air quality compliance plays in the design of oil and gas facilities and for the continued success of oil and gas development.
