How do I register for a course?

  • Return a completed registration form from the course brochure to the address listed above.
  • Call our office at 918-631-3088 to register by phone.
  • Fax your registration form to 918-631-2154.
  • Email us at cese@utulsa.edu.
  • Enroll online – credit card payments only.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express), personal check or wire transfer.

What if my credit card payment will not process, when registering online?

When entering your payment information online, be sure to enter the actual billing address associated with the credit card. It will not go through, if this is not correct. This is the most common reason the payments do not process. If you are sure that the address is correct, and you are still having problems, you might check to make sure that your card does not have a daily or per transaction limit associated with it. If this is not an issue, please call our office’s main number listed above, and we will attempt to process your payment manually.

Where is the course located?

The date and location for each course currently scheduled is found on our website by clicking on the Training Calendar and then on the specific course you plan to attend. Scroll to the bottom of the course page to find the dates and locations for that particular course.

What registration fee discounts are available?

Early Enrollment Discount – available to those who register at least one month prior to the seminar start date.
Team Discount – available to companies registering more than one employee for the same seminar date/location. Specifics are detailed on the course page.
NOTE: Persons who registered as part of a team that have to cancel (and are not replaced with a substitute); subject those attending to the higher regular individual rate if the team number is no longer met.

What is included in the course fee?

Most courses include morning and afternoon break refreshments and course materials. Check the course brochure or flyer for any specific items provided that are applicable for that course.

What am I required to bring to a course?

Course materials will be provided at the start of each course along with a pen, pencil, highlighter and notepad for taking notes. Any special requirements, such as a laptop, calculator, etc., will be listed in the course brochure or on the course webpage.

Will I receive a certificate of completion?

Yes, you will receive a certificate of completion at the end of your course, which will list CEUs and PDHs.

What are CEUs and PDHs?

A Continuing Education Unit (CEU) is a nationally recognized measure given and directly related to contact hours for a non-college credit course. CEUs are awarded upon completion of each course. One CEU is awarded for each 10 contact hours of instruction in a specified continuing education program or activity. Non-instructional time such as breaks, introductions, meals and social events is not included. PDH stands for Professional Development Hour. Both CEUs and PDHs are listed on the certificate of completion.

What if I need overnight accommodations while attending your course?

If you wish to make room reservations at the seminar site, contact the hotel directly.  Specify you are with The University of Tulsa seminar for special group rates.  To ensure space availability and a special rate, reservations should be made 1 ½ months prior to the seminar date.

What if I am registered for a seminar but find later that I am unable to attend?

There are several options available to you.
Substitutions:You may send a substitute from your company at any time.  Please notify our office as soon as you can if you must send a substitute.
Transfer:  Necessary transfer to another date/seminar require notifying CESE office before the start date of a seminar.  Transfer within the same year is not subject to rate increase.  Transfer outside of the original year of registration may be subject to any rate increase.  When registering as a group, the group fee only applies if each attendee in the group attends the class.
Cancel:  If you must cancel, you will receive a full refund if you cancel more than 10 days prior to the seminar start date to receive a full refund.  Any cancellation made within ten days of the seminar start date will be subject to a $295.00 administration fee.  There are no refunds available to those who do not notify our office that they will be unable to attend prior to the start date of the class.

What if the course is cancelled for any reason by CESE?

All paid seminar fees will be refunded in the unlikely event the course is cancelled.
