Oftentimes, oil and gas projects can involve multiple environmental issues and regulatory jurisdictions. This presentation will discuss the various tools available to operators to assist in the planning and design of oil and gas projects. For example, simple analysis of readily available maps and information can prove to be beneficial in siting your oil and gas facility in the most optimal location or routing your pipeline and support network in such a way that helps your project become operational in a much shorter timeframe. Each tool has strengths and weakness, and we will examine the merits of each.
