Why participate in these Cyber Security Conversations?
Join other Board Members and Corporate Leaders in conversation about the ever increasing occurrence of cyberattacks and data breaches. No longer an exclusive problem entrusted only to the IT department, information security now demands the attention of C-Suite Executives, General Counsel and others advising an organization.

Cybersecurity becoming a key boardroom agenda item:
In WeLiveSecurity.com’s paper, titled UK Cyber Risk Survey Report: 2016, it revealed that 71.8% of respondents have now included cyberthreats in their top-five or top-10 corporate risk registers. Last year the figure was 45.8%. There were other positive developments. Marsh also found that 83% of respondents now have “a basic or complete understanding of their company’s exposure to cyber risk”. In 2015 this was 60.8%.

Do you think your organization is addressing this issue? Are you unsure that your organization is addressing this issue? Are you asking the right questions?

This series of conversations will help answer your questions and address your concerns. They emphasize what a leader needs to know about key cyber security issues and management…looking beyond the latest buzz words and security products and focuses on cyber security’s impact on organizations, vendors, and customers. They are a practical discussion from various perspectives on what you need to know to make sure your organization is meeting expectations and addressing regulatory requirements.

Cyber security is an uncomfortable reality that organizations are facing today. However, the worst thing executives can do is just trust it is being covered. In the face of ever-growing threats, the best weapon is education. Make plans to join in on these conversations and begin to discover what you can do to support your organization’s response.
