The Energy Transition | 6 Session Series | January – June 2021
Across the world, the demand for energy continues to grow. Emerging economies in the United States and globally drive this demand as the global population continues to increase. However, the energy mix transitions with technology advances, while consumer preferences and legal frameworks change with time.
The energy mix in the United States involves complex legal issues. The process requires integrating complex legal issues into a systematic legal framework. This approach enables the successful development of new energy technology and the repurposing of proven energy solutions within the energy industry’s legal requirements. This series will provide a legal framework that guides participants identify, analyze , and apply the law to provide creative legal and commercial solutions that the energy industry and stakeholders need and want during the energy transition.
This energy transition seminar series will 1) identify legal frameworks, 2) apply lessons learned, and 3) provide commercial strategies to facilitate the achievable and stretch objectives in the energy transition on specific projects.

Mr. Pollet’s extensive combination of experience in energy laws, pipeline projects, and businesses, brings a rare perspective on many aspects of U.S. Natural Gas Pipelines. He is a licensed Attorney in Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, and Georgia. He is also a licensed Geoscientist in Texas and a proctor in maritime law.
