In 2002, Explorer implemented a Geographic Information System (GIS) based system both for accurately reporting areas of high consequence and responding to emergency response events. This presentation will give an overview of how the overland spread, channelflow and stream transport models have evolved to support a relevant understanding of consequence. Also, we will also demonstrate how we use other tools to integrate threats that can potentially lead to loss of containment. This complete risk awareness picture helps us plan, coordinate, budget and execute priority mitigation activities where they are most needed.
