Deidre “Deedee” Boysen is the President of BC Technologies, Ltd. an environmental consulting firm located in Laramie, WY. She has worked for BC Technologies for 20 years in a variety of capacities, including project management, government reporting, permitting, and customer relations.  Deedee graduated from the University of Wyoming three times and holds a B.A. in Communication (1975) and both an M.A in Communication (1978) and a Masters in Public Administration (1997).

She has been a regular attendee at the International Petroleum and Environmental Conference from 2004 to the present, and co-chaired the water session with her husband John from 2004 – 2017.  She has continued on to chair the water session from 2017 to the present.  IPEC has always been that conference that she just couldn’t miss!  Learning about the latest in water management and treatment technologies and meeting the movers and shakers in the industry was always an irresistible draw for her.

During her career at BC Technologies, Ms. Boysen researched and wrote about contemporary domestic and global energy and environmental issues, particularly those pertaining to the oil and gas industry. Her research focused on oilfield produced water and energy resource development, and she has prepared technical reports and presented the results of her research on topics as diverse as waste water management, produced water quantity and quality, emerging and existing produced water treatment technologies, produced water disposal economics, and regulatory change as it applies to the oil and gas industry.  She also assisted with research on the topic of underground coal gasification and contributed to a technical report for the Wyoming Business Council on the viability of underground coal gasification in the deep coals of the Powder River Basin, Wyoming.
