Learn the basics of the measurement uncertainty model, the use of correlation, curve fitting problems, probability plotting, combining results from different test methods.
You will be able to apply uncertainty analysis techniques to most experimental test problems in order to help achieve the test objectives more productively and at lower cost.
This course covers introductory materials plus uncertainty propagation and specialized data analysis tools needed for the proper estimation of data quality. It includes lecture, several in-class experiments with data analysis and the in-class working of problems to solidify the learning. This course will provide the participants with the tools needed to perform objective data quality assessments. Ron Dieck will instruct this course.
